Power Tested: Biacore C Surface Plasmon Resonance Analyzer
We get it, "power tested" doesn't exactly instill confidence in you.
We couldn't test further because we have no software to test with.
So if you already have a copy of the software and are simply looking for an-
other unit, this thing will either (A) be fully functional and save you a ton of
cash, or (B) not be functional and can simply be returned. You've got nothing
to lose.
The technician who worked on this analyzer, Bart, found that when the machine
is powered on:
(1) All lights come on for roughly 30 seconds, then go out
(2) The arm moves
(3) It sounds like a vacuum pump kicks on
(4) Solenoid turns on
(5) "Ready" status light glows
(6) Temperature light flashes
Bart reported no problems or abnormal noises. Good job, Bart.
This thing looks great inside and out. There's some light, occasional scuffs on
the front red panel, but the rest of the exterior and the interior are spotless.
The orange window is free of any significant scratches.
