Milestone PATHOS Delta Rapid Microwave Tissue Processor: For Parts or Repair
This microwave tissue processor does not function properly as the following components have been removed and put into another PATHOS Delta:
- Rotary valve
- Small water lines
- 2 reservoirs
This system will likely function properly once those parts have been replaced. Alternatively, it can make a great repository of spare parts for your own PATHOS Delta.
Before removing the above components, our technician ran the following tests:
- Resistive heating (both chambers): PASSED
- Microwave heating: PASSED
- Magnetic stirrers (both chambers): PASSED
- Arm functionality and chamber sealing: PASSED
- Manual/automatic control: PASSED
- Chamber filling/draining: PASSED
- Liquid level sensors (both chambers): PASSED
Additionally, our technician greased the arm's motor and performed some other service.
Given the results of our earlier testing, we believe this PATHOS Delta will function properly once the rotary valve, small water lines, and reservoirs have been replaced.
Save for a crack in the waste reservoir, this histoprocessor has been maintained fairly well and remains functionally unaffected by its signs of wear. Please review the photos to see more of the cosmetic condition.
