The modern EC aggregates are equipped with saw-teeth, that increase their efficiency in the preliminary size reduction of the droplets/particles and considerably shortens the processing time. The tips of the teeth are secured by a ring which avoids the teeth from bending. The whole dispersing aggregate is made from superior grade stainless steel (1.4435/316L). All these POLYTRON® EC dispersing aggregates are equipped with special slide bearings, which have extraordinary mechanical characteristics and superior chemical resistance. This PTA 10 homogenizing accessory is in excellent cosmetic condition and untested by New Life Scientific technicians. This piece, along with other aggregates, were acquired with a sterilizer. The PTA 10 includes the stator, stator rod, double bearing, rotor shaft, and rotor. Unfortunately, the crown coupling was not attached to the top; this may impact the ability to insert this device into the Polytron/Kinematica PT mixer. This PTA 10 was visually identified and the corresponding part number may be incorrect.
