This Optima 3200 XL spectrometer has been inspected and tested by our technical staff, confirming the analyzer to give consistent readings, but getting an Ignition failure (fatal) error when attempting to run a process.

There is no obvious damage to this system and it comes with manuals, documentation, and various accessories. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We would be happy to help.

In Fair Physical Condition - Easy to Move

While this spectrometer has seen better days, Perkin Elmer has built this fella to last and it still has potential for the right person. There is some wear from use and aging, but no damage was found during inspection. Everything is as shown in the photos so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Inspected by Technician - Consistent Analyzer Readings

After inspecting and testing this system, our technician concluded that there must be an issue with the RF generator because it does not attempt to fire the plasma, giving the error Ignition failure (fatal) without any further description.

We were able to test the analyzer which yielded consistent readings. Since this system is no longer supported by Perkin Elmer, we could not acquire the parts we need to continue testing and are therefore listing this as a For parts system.
