- This Biological Safety Cabinet was tested for airflow that met the manufacturer’s specifications, but the HEPA Filter has not been tested nor inspected. 

After its initial disinfection and inspection, our technicians tested the ESCO Labculture Class II Type A2 4' Biological Safety Cabinet with the following results: 

- Tested the stash location switches, alerts, and triggers: PASSED
- Tested control panel buttons: PASSED
- Tested UV and white light lamps: PASSED
- Tested internal power sockets: PASSED

While this Purchase does include the stand for the Safety Cabinet; the unit will not be shipped on the stand. This will ensure the unit will be able to pass through standard doorways at the point of delivery. 

The Labculture® Class II Type A2 BSC combines a multitude of design, construction, and proprietary technological considerations to provide optimum operator, product, and environmental protection. This cabinet utilizes 2-mini pleat ULPA (Ultra Low Penetration Air) filters, a 10-degree sloped front for maximum operator comfort and a single-piece stainless steel work zone with no visible screws or connectors in the work zone for ease-of-cleaning after experiments.
