After its initial disinfection and inspection, our technicians tested the Labconco FreeZone 2.5L -50°C benchtop freeze dryer with the following results:
- Condenser temperature achieved -53°C: PASSED
- Vacuum achieved 25mT: PASSED
- Reinforced refrigeration insulation
- Calibrated vacuum pump
The display screen doesn't indicate the correct vacuum reading. The vacuum pump has been calibrated and will reach .25 millitorr, but the display reading is .88 millitorr. The factory micron gauge is not reading correctly.
This incorrect reading has no effect on the performance of the freeze dryer. However, if you would like this corrected, then please let us know and it will be fixed with a surcharge added.
