BD FACSCalibur Flow Cytometer in Good Condition with 90-Day Warranty
A tried and true flow cytometer still widely used today, the BD FACSCalibur was the first system to provide standard multicolor analysis capabilities by incorporating an alignment free optical design, interbeam compensation, and dual-laser technology. Our technical staff inspected and powered on this FACSCalibur, confirming that this instrument powers on without issue and enters STNDBY state.
With 8,783.5 hours on this instrument, it was clearly well maintained and is still in good physical condition. Everything powers on without issue and looks good under the hood. The casing has a couple noticeable scuff marks on the front, but everything else looks nice.
This FACSCalibur was inspected and powered on by our technical staff, noting the "LO" LED/button lights green and the "STNDBY" LED/Button lights amber. Pressing the "MED", "HI" or "RUN" button will cause them to light. Pressing the "PRIME" button causes it to light red and a solenoid "click" can be heard.
Testing beyond this point was not possible without the software registration code which is required to operate the FACSCalibur from a PC workstation.
