Used: Distek Model 2500 Water Bath Dissolution Testing System w/ 7 1000mL Vessels

This Distek 2500 dissolution testing system has been inspected and tested by our technical staff, finding the system to fully-initialize, able run the stirrers and pump (pump not included).

There are a few issues with this instrument worth mentioning: during testing an issue with touchscreen touch accuracy was found, as well as an error that we believe may only be due to the the faulty pump which we have chosen to exclude from the listing.

To be fully-operational, this system requires a Distek TCS-0500 pump and temperature probe which is not included in this listing. This system is protected by a 90-day warranty in case a new pump doesn't solve the problem we experienced in testing.

During testing, this system raised an error stating that the bridge control is overheating. This problem will likely be fixed by adding a new pump, but there's also a slim chance that a communication cable or the bridge board is the origin of the problem.

Our technical staff tested the following:

*The touchscreen may have some dead spots because, even after calibration, it was not as accurate as it should be.

Notice: In order to do batch runs and see the temperature reading on the screen, an OEM pump (Distek TCS-0500) is required. You will need to acquire this item separately.

This system is in good condition overall except for a small chip in the lip of one of the vessels and a crack in the plastic tub that does not leak. However, neither of these blemishes affect functionality and the rest of the system was maintained quite well.
