Miles Scientific Sakura Tissue-Tek VIP 3000 Benchtop Tissue Processor: A Tried & True Workhorse
This VIP 3000 benchtop tissue processor has been professionally inspected, tested, and serviced by our in-house technical staff. Our staff are deeply experienced with histology equipment, so you can be sure you're getting the best possible product with NLS.
Included with this tissue processor are a full set of reagent bottles and three paraffin tanks. Additionally, it is backed by our 90-day warranty.
Completely Tested & Working Without Issue
Our technical staff thoroughly inspected VIP 3000 and tested each of its functions with no problems. We flushed the lines with alcohol and xylene to dry them out for storage. Additionally, they installed a new battery and some new tubing. The following is a rundown of our testing:
- Ran 3 water cycles without issue: PASSED
- Ran one short run successfully: PASSED
- Ran one long run successfully: PASSED
- Pumped fluid into and out of all non-wax stations: PASSED
- Wax oven heats up properly: PASSED
- Retort heater works: PASSED
- Retort lock switch works: PASSED
- All displays and buttons function: PASSED
- Automated routines successfully executed: PASSED
In Fair Cosmetic Condition
This VIP 3000 has been relied upon for decades now, and its track record is apparent in its cosmetics. There is significant paint chipping in several areas, especially around the retort, along with some scuffs and scrapes borne of long-term use.
These blemishes, however, do not affect the unit's functionality and we're confident it will continue to work well for you. Please review the photos for more details about the cosmetic condition.
