NLS Certified: Thermo Scientific Revco UxF50086D62 Upright -86°C ULT Ultra-Low Temperature Freezer

This NLS Certified Revco UxF ultra-low temperature freezer has been professionally inspected by our technical staff, who confirmed that it cools to -87°C, thus surpassing manufacturer specification.

This freezer does not come with a key or paper chart.

The UXF series is a recent-generation of Thermo Revco freezers, newer than the more common ULT series freezers. Compressors are a major failure point on refrigeration systems, so with a newer freezer like this you can expect greater longevity and more uptime than with an older ULT series freezer.

After inspecting this freezer and adding a bit of insulation to the refrigeration lines, our technical staff powered it on and set it to cool as far as possible. The freezer bottomed out at -87°C, thus exceeding the minimum specified temperature by 1°C.

Having been manufactured in December 2012, the interior of this freezer is still very clean and shows virtually zero signs of use. The outside of the freezer is just as nice, bearing just a small dent in the left side of the door. We recommend that you review the photos.
