SP Scientific GeneVac Rocket Centrifugal Evaporator in Excellent Condition and Manufactured in December 2015
Tested comprehensively here in our tech shop, this GeneVac Rocket evaporator is guaranteed to be fully functional. This used Rocket offers walk-away evaporation that rivals the performance of a brand new unit.
Our unit comes packaged with a six-flask rotor, rotor lid, and power cable. It does not include any vessels or a chiller. You will need to acquire those items separately.
We had the following results in testing:
- Successfully ran self-tests, including vacuum integrity test: PASSED
- Connected unit to chiller and found no leaks: PASSED
- Tested display, latch, and all buttons: PASSED
- Checked that amperage draw was appropriate: PASSED
- Checked strobe light: PASSED
In short, no problems were encountered in testing.
Aside from some very minor wear on top of the lid, this GeneVac Rocket is in excellent condition. We took care to inspect the vacuum seals and ensure they're all in good condition. We also repainted the exterior panels to give the system a fresh shine.
