Our Testing Process

1. The microfluidizer technician inspects electrical components, verifying proper functionality. Rewiring is done if needed.
2. The microfluidizer technician performs a detailed inspection on the high pressure fittings, and proper tightness are ensured.
3. The low pressure fittings are then inspected for proper seal.
4. The microfluidizer technician inspects hydraulic and pneumatic systems for damage. Then the unit is turned on, to make sure it runs smoothly.
5. The microfluidizer technician changes hydro oil if necessary.
6. The unit is then run/sterilized with denatured alcohol.
7. The unit is then cleaned and stainless steel is polished.
8. Upon purchase by the customer, plunger seal(s) are replaced, to ensure a fresh seal when the customer gets it.

Our Microfluidics Microfluidizer Technician Checklist

At New Life Scientific, our technicians test each device thoroughly before shipping to verify performance and functionality. After our microfluidizer technician finishes the initial testing process, this Microfluidics Technician Checklist is filled out to record the important information gathered throughout the repair process. This checklist will be available publicly after the unit has undergone tech completion.

Microfluidics LV1 Microfluidizer Processor Applications

Cell Disruption - This is used for breaking open cells to extract proteins, nucleic acids, and other intracellular materials.

Emulsification - Creation of stable emulsions by dispersing one liquid into another, typically with the goal of producing uniform droplets in applications like cosmetics, food, and pharmaceuticals.

Nanoparticle and Liposome Preparation - Formation of nanoparticles or liposomes for drug delivery, diagnostics, and other applications requiring fine particle sizes.

Homogenization - Ensuring uniform distribution of particles in a liquid, often for biological, food, or chemical products.

Dispersing Powders or Solids into Liquids - Efficiently dispersing powders or solid materials into liquids, which is crucial for making stable suspensions and slurries.

Particle Size Reduction - Reducing the size of particles in a sample to achieve desired size distributions, which is essential for the uniformity and quality of products in various sectors.

Vaccine and Antigen Production - Disrupting bacterial or viral cells for vaccine preparation, enhancing the delivery of antigens in therapeutic formulations.

Gene Therapy Applications - Creating gene delivery vectors or working with nucleic acids (e.g., DNA or RNA) for generic engineering or therapy.

Bioprocessing - Large-scale production of biopharmaceuticals, enzymes, and other biologics through the processing of cell cultures or bio-based products.
