Our Testing Process

1. Freeze dryer is visually inspected on arrival and then a performance test is initiated to see how well the unit is operating.

2. Freeze dryer technician checks if the refrigeration circuit works and is meeting manufacturer specification.

3. Freeze dryer technician verifies the vacuum pump type. Oil is flush/filled and then calibrated.

4. Freeze dryer technician calibrates the temperature of the unit to make sure it's not way off and under.

5. Freeze dryer technician inspects and replaces chamber/door seals and other parts as needed. 

6. Freeze dryer technician cleans the unit with dry ice blast method. 

7. Freeze dryer technician reinsulates the refrigeration lines and replaces all the vacuum hoses. 

8. Freeze dryer technician makes sure that the stopperings (if applicable) are working correctly; heating and defrosting correctly.

9. We paint and redecal on areas necessary.
