After its initial disinfection and inspection, our technicians tested the Leica Biosystems ASP6025 automated vacuum tissue processor with the following results:
- Powers on and initializes: PASSED
- Created and ran several full cycle programs: PASSED
These full cycle programs pumped water from each reagent bottle to the retort, heated it to 60°C, and returned the water to the reservoir. This was repeated no less than a dozen times to allow the warm water to dissolve and flush any debris from the lines.
We then flushed all the reservoirs and lines with alcohol to remove as much water as possible from the system.
