After its initial disinfection and inspection, our technicians tested the Physitemp Units with the following results:
- Filled tank with distilled water and stage quickly reached -19ºC: PASSED
- Freezing stage ran for several hours without issue: PASSED
- Pump was quiet throughout testing for several hours: PASSED
The freezing stage was used with a Leica Microtome but is compatible with other microtomes as well.
