After its initial disinfection and inspection, our technicians tested the VirTis Advantage XL stoppering shelf freeze dryer with the following results:
- Condenser temperature achieves -76°C: PASSED
- Shelf temperature achieves -60°C: PASSED
- Vacuum achieves 5mT: PASSED
- Stoppering: PASSED
- Defrost: PASSED
Notice: There is a small deviation of about 7°C on the high side at ambient temperature, but since the dryer was calibrated at colder temperatures, those readings match the calibration meter exactly. Additionally, the select button under shelf control must be pressed in a specific spot in order to function properly.
