Our Incubator Testing Process
1. The Incubator technician plugs and verifies the CO2 readings to check if the humidity sensors, heating, and refrigeration (if equipped) are working.
2. The Incubator technician will disassemble the internal parts of the unit for thorough inspection on filters and other parts to check for any necessary repairs.
3. If the incubator is water jacketed, the Incubator technician fills the jacket with water for a proper calibration.
4. After initial inspection and calibration, the incubator goes under disinfection. The shelves and chamber are also cleaned.
5. The Incubator technician conducts a temperature stabilization process to monitor the temperature and humidity of the unit. Calibration will be performed as necessary to ensure proper readings.
6. The Incubator technician then inserts a CO2 probe into the chamber and injects CO2 for the stabilization process. Calibration will be performed as necessary.
7. After calibration, the Incubator technician checks for leaks and secures the seals of the unit using our CO2 leak checker. The water jacket is then drained, if equipped with one.
