Our Testing Process

We implement thorough testing processes for all our used Infors HT Multitron Incubator Shakers. With our testing methods, we can provide you with quality assurance and warranted products. A technician will follow these steps for testing each Double Stacked Multitron Incubator Shaker we receive:

1. The shaking incubator technician pre-tests the unit’s heating and cooling (if applicable) and ensures the unit shakes and spins. If anything is not working, the necessary diagnosis is made and repairs are completed before continuing to the next testing step.

2. The shaking incubator technician runs the shaking platform to the maximum and minimum specifications to make sure that it will get up to where it needs to and to listen for bearing noise or other rubbing noises.

3. The shaking platforms, including the shaking mechanisms, are disassembled, cleaned and greased where necessary. The shaking incubator technician inspects the belts, fans and power button circuit and proceeds with the necessary repair.

4. The incubator technician tests the heat with our NIST traceable incubator thermometers to ensure the temperature remains steady at a 37°C setpoint. If necessary, calibration is performed.

5. If the unit is equipped with CO2, the incubator technician calibrates the CO2 to zero.

6. The incubator technician looks over various parts of the unit, such as feet, fans, front panel, etc. We also re-decal, repaint and replace parts if necessary.
