After its initial disinfection and inspection, our technicians tested the Barnstead Lab-Line MaxQ 4000 benchtop incubator shaker with the following results:
- Ran to 500 rpm; no bearing noise or instability: PASSED
- Tested temperature to 45°C; verified temperature: PASSED
- Temperature reached setpoint and held steady: PASSED
Notice: The power button on the control panel does not turn off the instrument so a power button has been installed on the left side of the unit instead.
- Installed a power switch to bypass the power switch on the control panel.
