After its initial disinfection and inspection, our technicians tested the Thermo Scientific TSX Series TSX70086A upright ULT ultra-low temperature freezer with the following results:
- Maintains -85°C setpoint: PASSED
- Inspected and replaced refrigeration insulation as needed.
- Inspected and tested the backup battery.
- Inspected condenser filter.

The vertical bars to which the shelf brackets attach have a few areas that are pushed in or bent. This affects approximately one inch of the freezer’s total shelf area.
