Interaction Chamber

The Microfluidizer Interaction Chamber generates consistent pressure ideal for cell disruption and particle size reduction. Unlike standard homogenizers, the Microfluidizer Interaction Chamber can deliver uniform, reproducible and scalable results.

Electric and Compressor Microfluidizers

Electric microfluidizers rely on an electric-hydraulic drive to operate the intensifier pump. The pressure is adjustable depending on the microfluidizer model and eliminates the use of compressed air and hydraulic cooling water. Compressor microfluidizers, meanwhile, use an air-powered intensifier pump to put constant pressure on the products. Compressor-driven microfluidizers typically create higher shear rates than their conventional counterparts.

Electric and compressor microfluidizers are both efficient in what they do. The only difference when choosing equipment for your laboratory is its intended application. The compressor types are better for high-throughput applications, as well as processes that require precision control.
